BDP. NET provider for Oracle can work using Oracle Call Interface (OCI) or SQL*Net directly. The provider supports Oracle 10g, 9i, 8i, and 8. 0, including Personal and Lite editions.
For OCI access mode the provider requires Oracle software installed on the client side. In the case of working through SQL*Net, only TCP/IP protocol is required.
